The 16th Cross Road in Thillayadi, Puttalam, had not been reconstructed for the past 25 years. The road had been a long-standing need of the people in the area.
Due to the poor condition of the road, local residents had faced many difficulties when using it for their daily activities.
After 25 years, the road has now been reconstructed and opened for public use.
The residents of Sathmiyapuram, who had experienced difficulties using the road for many years, have expressed their happiness over the completion of the reconstruction work.
