As part of the ongoing dengue prevention and control initiatives of the Puttalam Municipal Council, a special dengue control programme was launched on 6 July 2026, with the support and cooperation of the Security Forces.
The programme forms part of the Council’s continued efforts to prevent the spread of dengue and maintain a clean and healthy environment for the people of Puttalam.
The Puttalam Municipal Council remains committed to strengthening dengue prevention measures through continued community-focused initiatives and collaborative efforts.
