Members of Parliament from Puttalam District and the <strong>Mayor of Puttalam Municipal Council<\/strong> also participated in the discussion.<\/p>\n<p>The selection of Puttalam for this programme reflects the confidence placed in the current activities, development initiatives and future urban development plans of the Puttalam Municipal Council.<\/p>\n<p>Under this national programme, Puttalam will be included in a <strong>special long-term urban development plan covering the next 10 years<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In Puttalam District, <strong>Puttalam and Naththandiya<\/strong> have been
