Puttalam Municipal Council<\/strong> invites sealed bids from qualified bidders for the leasing of four (04) toilets maintained by the Council for a period of one year, from 01 September 2026 to 31 August 2027<\/strong>, on an annual lease basis.<\/p>\n

Toilets Included in the Lease<\/h4>\n
    \n
  1. Smart Toilet at Puttalam Central Bus Stand<\/li>\n
  2. Public Toilet at Puttalam Central Bus Stand<\/li>\n
  3. Public Toilet at Puttalam Beach Park<\/li>\n
  4. Public Toilet System at Puttalam Poles Road<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Main Conditions<\/h4>\n
      \n
    • The minimum annual lease amount for the entire toilet system is Rs. 3,000,000.00<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    • The lessee shall be responsible for the full payment of electricity and water bills<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    • The maximum charges that may be levied from the general public are:\n
        \n
      • Smart Toilet:<\/strong> Rs. 50.00<\/li>\n
      • Public Toilet:<\/strong> Rs. 20.00<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • A bid guarantee of Rs. 100,000.00<\/strong> is required, either in cash or by bank guarantee, valid from 07 August 2026 to 30 October 2026<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Bid Documents<\/h4>\n

        Bid documents may be obtained from the Office of the Puttalam Municipal Council<\/strong> from 20 July 2026 to 07 August 2026<\/strong>, between 9.00 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. on working days<\/strong>, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 10,000.00<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

        Submission of Bids<\/h4>\n

        Bids may be sent by registered post addressed to the Hon. Mayor, Puttalam Municipal Council, Puttalam<\/strong>, or deposited in the Tender Box kept at the Office of the Municipal Council.<\/p>\n

        Bids must be received before 10.00 a.m. on 07 August 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

        Opening of Bids<\/h4>\n

        Bids will be opened at 10.15 a.m. on 07 August 2026<\/strong> at the Office of the Municipal Secretary, in the presence of bidders or their representatives.<\/p>\n
